Landmarks Birding Walks

Grab your binoculars and discover Montgomery’s feathered residents during a guided birding experience through the historic grounds of Old Alabama Town! Led by Christopher Joe of Connecting with Birds and Nature LLC, these early-morning walks offer a chance to explore the grounds while learning about the birds and natural environment around you. The experience includes a light breakfast afterward, with an optional historical program exploring the history of urban slavery at the Ordeman-Mitchell-Shaw complex. Birding walks are offered on selected dates, so check the Landmarks Foundation calendar for upcoming opportunities.
