Ballet and the Beasts

Enjoy a magical evening of dance, music, and animals under the stars at the Montgomery Zoo! Presented by the Montgomery Ballet in partnership with Alabama State University and the Montgomery Symphony, this free, family-friendly performance features the Montgomery Ballet’s presentation of Carnival of the Animals and Young People’s Guide to the Orchestra, along with performances by ASU dance troupes and a Montgomery Symphony quartet. Before the show, guests can enjoy a live animal presentation featuring some of the Zoo’s education ambassadors. Bring a picnic blanket, lawn chairs, or a cooler and settle in for an evening of arts and entertainment for the whole family. Limited concessions will also be available for purchase, and guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable or canned food donations for the Heart of Alabama Food Bank.
