November 26- December 14: Santa at EastChase

Santa returns to his magical home at EastChase! Santa’s Whimsical Wonderland is located across from H&M. Visits with Santa require a deposit that will go towards the purchase of a photo package. Both families and pets are invited to visit Santa, and while appointments are not necessary, you can book your spot in advance to avoid the line!

November 27: Christmas Tree Lighting

Celebrate the Advent season at Saint James Church with the lighting of the Christmas Tree. Enjoy drinks, snacks, live music, pictures with Santa, and more!

December 1-24: Photos with Santa

Register now to bring the kids out to Eastdale Mall and have their picture taken with Santa!

December 2-25: Christmas Lights Festival

See the Montgomery Zoo transformed into a Winter Wonderland displaying thousands of sparkling and twinkling lights and festive decorations at Christmas Lights Festival. Enjoy strolling about the Zoo or taking a brisk train ride and enjoying the lights and sounds of the holiday season. Swing by to visit Santa and get in those last minute Christmas wishes!

December 6: Bedtime Stories With Santa 

Grab your holiday jammies and head to Books-A-Million in the Shoppes at EastChase! Bedtime Stories with Santa will feature a book reading by the Big Man himself, complimentary cookies, hot chocolate, and a photo opportunity. Tickets include a copy of the book to keep.

December 9: City of Montgomery’s Annual Christmas Parade

There will be dozens of floats and performers bringing festive cheer to downtown Montgomery! Santa is set to make an appearance.

December 16, 17, 23, 24: Safari of Lights

Enjoy the beauty of the Alabama Safari Park at night as you drive through thousands of sparkling lights. After your drive, enjoy an illuminated walk through the Candy Cane Forest and visit with all of your favorite farm animals in the petting area. Santa will be in attendance on December 16, 17, 23, and 24, giving you the perfect opportunity to drop off last-minute Christmas letters while snapping a treasured photo. Make Safari of Lights an annual family holiday tradition!

December 10: Christmas at Kick Back

Spend an afternoon at Kick Back Ranch filled with holiday shopping, great food, visits with Santa, and plenty of fun activities.

Prattville

December 1: Annual Tree Lighting

The City of Prattville will kick off the Christmas Season with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The event will feature a holiday DJ, and a special visitor will be there to listen to the wishes of all the little boys and girls.

December 2: Annual Christmas Parade

Prattville’s Annual Christmas Parade will roll out from the Autauga County Courthouse. Lights, marching bands, dancers, candy, beads, and trinkets will be abundant as the parade travels through downtown Prattville, with the jolly old elf himself making a visit.

December 4: Snacks with Santa

Santa and Mrs.Claus are flying into the Prattville Airport! Join them for cookies and a hot chocolate bar. Decorate your own ornament and have professional pictures taken and printed by Chrietzberg Photography. All proceeds go to the Autism Society of Alabama. Space is limited! 

December 13: A Main Street Christmas

The City of Prattville, the Prattville Chamber of Commerce, and Downtown Merchants are excited about A Main Street Christmas! Shop local small businesses for last minute Christmas gifts, visit with Santa, enjoy a free carriage ride, and more!

December 16: Milk & Cookies with Santa

Here comes Santa Claus! Meet Santa, make fun crafts, and enjoy yummy treats. A photographer will be present to take free pictures for families.

December 17: Character Toddler Time with Santa and Mrs. Claus

Have you been a good girl and boy this year? Join Launch for a special Toddler Time with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Kids 5 & under can come with their parents (or adult) to enjoy jump time and all of the attractions offered for kids who are their age and size!

Millbrook

December 3: Breakfast with Santa 

The Grandview Family YMCA will host their annual Breakfast with Santa. Tickets for this event include breakfast, an ornament craft, and a picture with Santa. 

December 3: “A Whoville Christmas” Festival & Parade

Enjoy a day filled with arts and crafts, food vendors, live music, and a festive parade. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be riding on Santa’s sleigh.

December 3: Christmas at Lanark

Enjoy hayrides, Christmas crafts, decorating cookies, a movie special, and much more! Learn how to create your own nature ornament, get pictures with Santa, enjoy a Christmas movie special, and make sure to go on the hayride!  There will be hot chocolate for sale and plenty of activities to keep you warm. Bring your camera and take a picture with jolly Ol’ Saint Nick! General admission applies and includes all activities! 

December 6: Photos with Santa 

Santa is coming to First Community Bank! Professional photographer Barry Chrietzberg will be there to take pictures. Everyone will receive a printed 4X6 photo in a Christmas themed folder at the time of their visit. Cell phone and personal camera photos may also be taken. The photos are free, and being a customer is NOT a requirement.

Wetumpka

December 2 & 3: A Downtown Dickens Christmas

Join the Wetumpka Chamber in collaboration with the City of Wetumpka and Main Street Wetumpka for a two-night community event celebrating the annual Christmas tree lighting and enjoying a Victorian Christmas! You’ll be transported back to scenes from “A Christmas Carol” with period costumes, photos with Father Christmas, authentic vendors, and decorated downtown businesses. 

December 8: Photos with Santa 

Santa is coming to First Community Bank! Professional photographer Barry Chrietzberg will be there to take pictures. Everyone will receive a printed 4X6 photo in a Christmas themed folder at the time of their visit. Cell phone and personal camera photos may also be taken. The photos are free, and being a customer is NOT a requirement.

December 9: Cookies With Santa

Experience the magic and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus at The Party Palace. Get your child’s photo taken and have a cookie as well (made by the elves themsELVES). For extra magic, have your child bring Santa a handwritten note with what their wish is for Christmas!

December 10: Christmas on the Coosa

Join Wetumpka for the 50th Christmas on the Coosa Celebration. Begin the morning with the annual Character Breakfast of two sessions. The first session is at 7:30 am and the second session is at 9:30 am. Gold Star Park Stage Entertainment will begin at 11:30 am and will feature The Leap of Faith Dancers, the Wetumpka Elementary K-2nd grade singers, A Chance the Dance Dancers and Pops Band. Food and Arts & Crafts vendors will be an all day setup beginning at noon. The Antique Car Show will also begin at noon and end at 3 pm. The night parade will start at 6 pm. At last, Santa will ski across the Coosa River at 7pm and the nigh will end with the fireworks show.
