WHO IS GABE GROSS?
Gabe Gross is a retired MLB outfielder who played seven years in the league with four different teams. In the 2001 MLB Draft, Gross was selected in the first round by the Toronto Blue Jays, and would earn his MLB debut in 2004 after three years in the minor leagues. After two seasons with the Blue Jays, Gross was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2006, playing with the team for three seasons before being traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in 2008. His 2008 season would end up being his best, as he hit .243 with 13 homeruns and 38 RBIs in limited action. In 2009, Gross was non-tendered by the Rays, and he spent the entire 2010 season with the Oakland Athletics. Following the 2010 season, Gross opted to retire, ending his career with a .239 batting average, 40 homeruns, and 186 RBI.
