Round out your Labor Day Classic Week with an outdoor jazz/blues festival near the banks of the Alabama River. Alabama State University’s WVAS-FM90.7 will present the annual Nat King Cole Society Jazz Festival on Sunday Sept. 2 at the Riverwalk Amphitheater in downtown Montgomery. Featuring Eric Essix, Kim Scott, Daniel D and King Bee. Gates open at 3 p.m., and it’s “horns in the air” at 4 p.m.

The Festival also will include a variety of food and other vendors as well as fun activities for children.

Tickets are $20 for general admission, and $35 for VIP. Tickets are $2 for children 12 and under and are available only at the gate.
