The Montgomery Whitewater Labor Day 5K is a professionally timed event open to runners (and walkers!) of all ages and abilities! The unique course will take runners through the beautiful grounds at Montgomery Whitewater!

Montgomery Whitewater’s “Lil Tri” puts a fun spin on the traditional triathlon by challenging young athletes to run, bike, and PADDLE across the finish line. Open to kids ages 6 to 11, Lil Tri consists of a 250-yard flatwater paddle, 700-yard bike ride, and 880-yard run.

Montgomery Whitewater will provide all of the equipment needed for the flatwater paddle; however, athletes will need to bring their own bike and helmet. Kids ages 6-10 must have an adult in the ducky (inflatable kayak) for the water portion of the race. 11-year-olds may paddle on their own.
