Easter at Frazer
April 18, 2019 - April 21, 2019
During the season of Holy Week leading up to Easter, the night on which Jesus was betrayed is known as Maundy Thursday. It was at that time that he inaugurated a new covenant with us through the Lord’s Supper, the sacred meal of bread and wine representing Christ’s body and blood given for us. Celebrate with us through this special evening of remembrance, worship and communion. Nursery provided.

Good Friday Service
During the season of Holy Week leading up to Easter, the day on which Jesus was crucified is known as Good Friday. Join us for a somber yet beautiful “service of darkness” during which we will read scripture, sing songs, and gradually put out the candles in recognition of his death for us, departing in darkness to anticipate the glorious morning of Easter Sunday and the resurrection of Christ. Nursery provided.

Easter Sunrise Worship
Celebrate the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday morning at this community Sunrise Service jointly presented by Frazer and Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Coffee and light refreshments provided. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Services will be held outdoors at the natural amphitheater across from the Montgomery Museum of Art and Alabama Shakespeare Festival (use the Vaughn Road entrance). Rain cancels.

Easter Sunday Worship
Easter Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord, through which we experience new life now and hope beyond death. Join us at any of our six morning worship services—8:00, 9:30 or 11:00am in either our Sanctuary (traditional style worship) or Wesley Hall (contemporary style worship). Nursery provided at all services; children’s programs at 9:30 and 11:00.
