You are invited to Shakespeare’s (aka The Bard) 455th birthday party!  The afternoon will feature food trucks/vendors, music, games, and Shakespearean shenanigans.

Food vendors include Alabama Sweet Tea Co., That’s My Dog Montgomery, Dixie Snack Company, Frios Gourmet Pops – River Region, Nostalgia Smokehouse & Catering, and more!

Music from Romeo & Juliet’s The Ambuscadoes

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Shakespearean-themed games for kids (and adults!)
Costume trunk (Play dress up and take a Shakespearean Selfie!)

1:00 p.m.
Garden Talk: Shakespeare’s Flowers: Master Gardener Karen Weber will lead a talk in the garden, focusing on the flowers and plants of Shakespeare.

1:30 p.m.
Bard Talk: Dr. Susan Willis will give a brief summary of Romeo & Juliet’s themes, plot points, and story.

2:00 p.m. Romeo & Juliet on the Festival Stage
2:00 p.m. Into the Breeches on the Octagon Stage
