“The River Region Runners’ Club is once again proud to plan, organize, and host the 2021 Montgomery Jubilee Run in its 42nd year.  This year’s run will raise funds for a charity designated by the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) in support of the Montgomery Police Department (MPD), e.g., Police Relief Fund.  The MPD, through the FOP Lodge 29, is the major sponsor for this year’s run.  The runs will be staged from Old Alabama Town.

The 8K running event attracts runners from all over the River Region, Alabama, and beyond!  In addition to the 8K, there will be a 2-mile run in honor of Peggy McLendon Lanier.”
