In conjunction with Montgomery “Food For Kids” Backpack Program, Tie and Doll, Inc is hosting the 3rd Annual “Stuff the Truck” Food Drive in Montgomery on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10am to 4pm.  The goal is to collect non-perishable food to feed individuals and families in need in the River Region Area.  All donations will be given to Montgomery Area Food Bank.

A U-Haul truck will be located in front of Sturbridge Winn Dixie located at 7946 Vaughn Road. Local residents and businesses are invited to bring non-perishable food items and literally “stuff” the truck.

Suggested items to donate are the following:

Breakfast items: oatmeal, pop tarts, grits, Nutrigrain bars, Belvita breakfast cookies, box milk, juice

Lunch items: canned pasta, canned tuna, soup, mac and cheese, baked beans, vegetables, chili

Snacks: Cheezits, goldfish, craisins, raisins, dried fruit, peanut butter and crackers, trail mix, nuts, pretzels, squeezy fruit, applesauce, mandarin oranges
