Cloverdale-Idlewild Art Trail 2018

December 1, 2018 @ 10:00 am - December 2, 2018 @ 3:00 pm

The Cloverdale-Idlewild Art Trail is Dec. 1 and 2! Check out the Tea Tent activities!

Six studios in Montgomery’s Cloverdale-Idlewild neighborhood will be open Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, for self-guided tours and holiday sales—our third year! We artists enjoy the camaraderie of sharing our workspaces with visitors, and we love promoting real art in the gift-giving season.

The studios—featuring the work of potters, painters, photographers, and jewelry makers—are all within easy walking distance of each other, and the neighborhood is fun to walk in!

Studios and participants, so far, include our newest members Al and Stina Allen (painter and photographer); the Renegade Potters—Celeste Sabel, Kathy Haynie, and Chris Greenman; Mike Handley (painter); Darla Tiesling from Sun Dancer Studio (potter and jewelry maker), along with Robin Holley Johnson (jewelry and small sculptural works); and Janice Prescott and Warren Simons (potter and photographer) from Wild Clover Studio.

Again this year, we will be having our amazing “tea tent,” organized by the Kinzer family. The neighbors provide coffee, tea, and baked goods to art trail attendees for a donation of cash or canned goods for the Montgomery Area Food Bank. Artists will also donate artwork to be raffled off for a food bank donation. Last year we raised more than $350, which fed a lot of hungry people.

Saturday, Dec. 1 10:00am – 3:00pm

Sunday, Dec. 2 11:00am – 2:00pm
