The Montgomery Symphony will perform a free evening of Broadway show tunes on Thursday, August 29th, when the Orchestra presents the annual Broadway Under the Stars Pops Concert. The concert will feature music from hit shows such as Porgy and Bess, Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, and The Sound of Music.
Picnic baskets, coolers, blankets, and lawn chairs are all welcome at this free, family-friendly event which is sponsored by Regions Bank. The concert will begin at 7:30pm, lakeside in the Blount Cultural Park, home of Alabama Shakespeare Festival and the Carolyn Blount Theatre. Come early and pick a good spot to enjoy your family’s outing. The gates will open at 5:00 pm.
